  They do not even deserve the one star. I took my car here for its MOT due to having been there before and had a decent experience (I have been told they’ve taken new ownership which may explain my awful experience.). Having no knowledge of anything wrong with the car I was expecting it to pass no problem. Around 3pm they called me and started listing faults with the car which made it fail, in panic I asked if they could do it in the day and how much it would cost. After them quoting me £900 there was absolutely no way I could afford that, the car is only worth £2000!!
  I am not from Chester and only used this garage for the MOT so decided to take it to my normal garage back home, they did the MOT for me and repairs that flagged up for £110. 6 of the 7 things Formula One Autocentres flagged up on the original MOT did not even get flagged up in the MOT at the other garage. I am so thankful I didn’t just give in and let them do it for £900, I will never ever be going to this garage again and I will make sure that anyone who ever asks for recommendation of a garage they stay well away from here!!
